There are many places for the visitors to choose from, ranging from forts, places of natural beauty and even a number of temples for the pilgrims.
1. Girna Dam
Girna dam is the region's largest dam located at a distance of 35kms from Chalisgaon city and is built on Girna, Panjhan and Mausaum rivers. The view from the top of the dam looks like someone is watching an ocean's view.
2. Keki Moos Art Gallery
This art gallery is the world's biggest one man painting/ photography collection of over is worth 13,000 arts master pieces situated near Chalisgaon City (85kms approx).
3. Manudevi Temple
The temple located in beautiful natural surroundings near Adgaon village in Yawal Taluka. There is a nice water fall with breathtaking view. The way to the temple is a very good trek with the path going through a small river 7 times. The temple is surrounded by forested hills. The temple is fully covered with Satpuda hills and turns lush green during Monsoon making it a more pleasured tourist spot.
4. Omkareshwar Mandir
One of the most famous and beautiful lord Shiva temples in jai nagar area of Jalgaon City. Shivratri, Shravni Somvar, Ramnavmi, Gokulashtami are the biggest festivals celebrated in this temple.
5. Pal
Famous hill station of Jalgaon district surrounded by tribal villages and it's about 35 kms from Jalgaon city. The forest around this place is full of wild life, famous for its cool temperature and the natural peace with dense forests. The Small River and forests make an ideal picnic spot. There is a guesthouse also if you want to stay overnight.
6. Parola Fort
Parola fort was built in 1727 and the size of the fort is 160 to 130-sq-meters. It is believed that the fort belongs to the father of the Great Rani of Jhansi, Laxmibai. Hence, Parola is believed to be the native of Rani Laxmibai.
7. Padmalaya kshetra
Among the two and a half Shree Ganapati Peeths in India, this is regarded as the half Peeth. This temple is located at the top of the hill. There are small temples on all sides of the main temple. The padukas of Shree Govind Maharaj are located in front of the temple and huge bell next to the padukas.
8. Shivdham
Is a religious place located in Ratnapimpri village of Parola taluka and has nicely designed and maintained Lord Shiva temple and has huge number of devotees during Shivratri period. The most trusted place amongst devotees.
9. Swinging Towers
Located 16-km from Erandol on the bank of Utawadi River is a great example of old construction techniques. Both the towers are 15m long and when one of them is waved the other towers also starts waving automatically. It is believed that the construction is 250 years old.
10. Gandhi Tirth
Totally noise-free and pollution-free Gandhi Tirth is a magnificent 65,000 sq. ft. sustainable structure located at Jain Hills, Jalgaon. The structure made entirely in pink Jodhpuri stone is beautifully landscaped with sprawling lawns. Residential facilities for researchers and guests are housed within the complex.
